Duties and Responsibilities: Perfusionists are vital members of the cardiovascular surgical team because they are responsible for running the heart-lung (cardiopulmonary bypass) machine. The heart-lung machine diverts blood away from the heart and lungs, adds oxygen to the blood, then returns the blood to the body—all without the blood having to go through the heart.

Salary: $109,773

Education: In order to become a Perfusionist you will have to recieve a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and are required to receive specialized training, in order to meet certification requirements. For some a masters degree might be required in order to sit in the certification training.

Duties and Responsibilities: they work for healthcare administrator to address the concerns and special needs of patients and their families.They evaluate patient satisfaction, investigate complaints, collect information about patients dissatisfaction, work with with departments to resolve patients problems, and educate staff.

Salary: $20,000 – $40,000

Education: Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math and English.Requirements differ, but most employers prefer college graduates with backgrounds in health or social services.  Experience or course work in conflict resolution is also valued.

Reflection: I think this is something good that can remind us that we could do better in life , choosing the right and not being a follower choose to be the leader, take the right choices make other think good about you , don’t let people say you’re the bad one . Always choose the right never doubt on your self if you know its the right choice.



Duties and Responsibilities: trained to prescribe and fit lenses to improve vision, and diagnose and treat various diseases.

Salary: $115,042

Education: bachelor’s degree are appropriate for students interested in one day becoming optometrists. Students should make sure that they complete courses in biology, calculus, laboratory science, physiology and chemistry. Also, students are required to complete an Optometry Admission Test given by the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry.

Reflection: I think that it looks like an interesting career , but it is not something that I would like to study for because it requires material that I’m not interested in.

Reflection: no student get’s fame by just simply doing what they  are asked to do , it is within there abilities and intelligence that is required that becomes the greatness.

Optical Laboratory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: they receive orders from optometrists and opticians , in some cases they create lenses for products.

Salary: $28,590

Education: no college degree is needed course working in art science, mathematics, and computer technology increase career opportunities.


Reflection: i dont think that i would become a optical laboratory technician because it doesn’t seem interesting to me.
